Presto, It's Memorial Day (May 31, 2010)

As I wake up this Memorial Day, I look out the window and smile. Today, Presto, everything will change. The process is starting, all the pilot projects are reaching critical mass. By the end of 2011 we will be at the point of no return with July 28, 2012 being the critical date.

To everyone at PRET, you have all done an awesome job preparing for this. Keep up the good work then end is in sight.

Why stop Hurricanes when we can control them?

Bill Gates is investing money on stopping hurricanes by pulling them to cooler water but why not find a way to contain them and use them for power generation. Much like we do with Niagara Falls.

Eventually research may let us form them ourselves and control the ones we form for power generation. An attempt was made a while back but many lost control and we had Katrina and other hurricanes get loose from us and go ashore. That stopped our research till we were off the radar but hopefully this season we can continue in this space especially now that another venture is work on a similar project.

Our plan for the hurricanes was not to guide them to cooler water but guide them to a special spot on the shoreline where power generators were waiting. We collect the power then let them die out. Now that another funder is working on controlling hurricanes maybe some of their research will assist in controlling the hurricane for us. Let's hope this venture pays off and they do get control of them. It will mean natural power for us all.

Glen's Update: Revolutionizing Food Storage Methods

We have been doing a lot of research in the area of preservation of food especially withthe long trip coming soon, but until now we have not had much luck, that is until today.

A friend of mine was able to stumble upon some unique research that mention a very strange theory thatjust might work. Most preserved foods have the water removed. This is a very expensive processand it means water needs to be added back later if available. But what if there is no water?

To understand the theory you have to ask yourself one question. Why remove the water?you probably said something about taking up less space, or that the water causes the food to rot quicker. Let's look at the first answer: If you have to store water too then you are in a sense using the same storage anyways.Now that we have that one out of the way, let's look at the second answer.

Water causes food to rot. But if we are not removing it what are we doing. Well what if water was not water. It seems a scientist has come up with a theory that if wealter the valence bonds of the water they will not oxidize. Suposedly he has a machine that does it.We are trying to track it down.

Susan Fischer's releases Chloros Guild

It all started with a vision from our prophet and Public Relations Guru, Susan Fischer. This followed with a discussions with Redd and his fear of how people will be after the event in 2036. We are all working on preparing but we needed a way to let people outside the group be aware of ways they could stop the damage that is currently occuring with the environment. If we can reduce the damage, possibly stop the damage and start repairing, our chance of survival as a people will grow.

This is Susan's vision and we are all behind her 100%. Over the next few years you will start to see some of our volunteers a PRET produce articles for this blog.

David's Research Update: Beyond Cloning

David and Susan have been working hard researching Pshia and Living Water. Its only been a couple short weeks and already they have found some interesting information. You can check out what they found at:

Glen has been working hard as well, he looked into which foods have a long shelf-life. He came up with Rice, Wheat Berries, yeast, oatmeal, dried beans and peas for protien, honey, maple syrup, salt, baking powder and of course dried milk. This is just a start, he is continuing to research more items. However his research has brought up a lot of other important things. low temperature, low humidity and vacuum storage are vital to the longevity of food.

The other team members have been working hard as well. I hope to provide more updates on their progress as they report it to me.

We hope that this team working together on pshia and other initiatives can provide the PRET team with the vital information we need.

Pshia - Living Waters

David is a vital resource at PRET. He has been working hard on scientific solutions to some of our issues we will face after 2036. Recently he came across a large delemna in our survival plan. Many PRET members who are building up and acquiring experience in the various roles will be quite old when 2036 rolls around. David is now researching ways we can extend life and hopefully reduce and/or reverse the aging process.

David has now come across some interesting findings and has teamed up with Susan Fischer our Public Relations expert to come up with a blog called pshia in hopes to promote studies in this area. They decided to use the name Pshia as it is a combination of protien and shi. The shi protien is responsible for lifespan. Some people are hinting at a technique known as Living Water. This spawns from the following bible verse:

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is
saying to you, "Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have
given you living water." 11 The woman said to him, "Sir, you have no bucket, and
the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?...15 The woman said to
him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I may never be thirsty or have to keep
coming here to draw water." 16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and
come back." (John 4:10-16)

Susan Fischer has some blog experience as she has been working on Ida Journal which is a blog that is helping work through reading her grandmother's journal and learning to accept her gift. She also has been an big assistance on the Go Transit Blog which has helped raise awareness with Go Transit and TTC on customer service concerns. Susan Fischer is so devoted to her cause she is currently on her TTC Strike by Commuters and walking every morning from Union Station to Yonge and Bloor and in the evening rush walking back.

About PRET - Post Rapture Emergency Team

A lot of people have been asking what PRET is and how do we work. I thought I would send out an introduction so you are aware of our purpose.

PRET is preparing for your future. Our volunteers have purchased and will continue to purchase land, non-perishable goods and equipment to aid in the rebuilding of society after the rapture. PRET is not interested in buying prime real estate, rather it is interested in getting bargain properties nobody else wants and tranforming them to meet our needs. The same goes for equipment. By doing this we ensure we are efficiently preparing while not impacting current living conditions. We have a strong team from all walks of life working on preparations. Just look at the prior posting for a taste of the list of volunteers working with us.

Now that you know a little more about what PRET is, I thought I would share a bit more about what PRET is NOT.

• PRET is NOT a registered charity NOR does it accept donations of any kind.
• PRET itself does not own any land, supplies or equipment. All ownership is maintained by our volunteers. We rely souly on their loyalty, honor and their desire to reach the common goal and to this project to provide us with our needs when the time comes.
• PRET is affiliated with Club 2036 and many of our volunteers are also members of the Club.
• PRET is NOT affiliated with any religious organization, although many of our volunteers are members of a wide range of religious organization.

I hope this explains a bit more on what PRET is and what it is not. I am sorry I cannot reveal more at this time but for the security of our volunteers it is not currently possible.

Please check back often for updates on the coming storm and the efforts to prepare. This is not just a physical battle, but a spiritual and emotional one. We need to be prepared on all fronts for the upcoming battle for survival.
